Sweet Potato & Carrot Spice Soup

Hey Everyone!

Hope your day was divine. Mine was low key and great!! ☺

I am in a bit of a limbo with training and doing a fitness show or not? And, to be honest I haven’t felt super duper in the last month. I have been a bit blah! And, there is a part of me that thinks that maybe I just need to chill out and relax and not workout out as hard. And, then there is the other part of me that is like get your booty moving that is the best way to feel good and increase your energy girl!

It isn’t like I am being lazy and not doing anything. I am just not doing anything with a whole lot of intensity and consistency. The great part is that I am still moving my body on a daily basis and eating yummy, healthy food. But… but… there is this part of me that is forever an athlete and who loves to push edges. And… loves to be in amazing shape because I feel so much better. I am more present in my life, in my body, in the world. And, looking super sexilicous is always a plus! ☺

Speaking of that whole hotness thang… I still have some stories around being hot, being into fashion, beauty and all of that jazz. I find myself thinking that is a waste of time. And, there are better things to do in the world than get in shape, look good, etc. Which I must say is a very limiting belief. But, still one that bubbles up!

I have never really been one to be all into beauty and fashion. Yet, it has always captivated me. The way someone looks when they are just rockin’ their outfit with confidence. I find it very inspiring… the creativity, funk, elegance, the self expression... it’s a unique glimpse into their world. I find that very interesting and beautiful.

I am not quite sure why I resist it. I always go for the comfortable (aka workout clothes mostly :). I am feeling like I need a whole new philosophy on fashion and beauty! A new transformation in 2010 maybe!?!

If you have any tips/pointers/ideas please send them my way! ☺

Oh! And one more thing. I recently got a newsletter from Gay & Katie Hendricks all on completions. As the year is ending this is the best time to make a list of all the things that are incomplete. Whether it is projects, bills that need to be paid, phone calls… make a list and get them completed. It is a great way to create new space and energy for the new year!!

I made my list today and if you want to print off a list from Gay & Katie go to their website
here!

To completions, beauty, and magnificence,

Alexandra

  • can I just say..you already HAVE your style ...and it is great! I always thing when watching your videos how envious I am that you look so good in yoga clothes and I wish I could wear them all the time like that! You always seem to be rocking your outfits with supreme confidence!
I too havent been feeling the desire to push thru extreme exercise right now... So i have been cutting myself some slack and saying "as Long as I move or do something daily, push it when I feel it and eat well that I am good!"
I believe there is a reason I am more internal right now..just hasnt been presented to me yet???
    have a stellar day!!

LOL! You're awesome! Thanks so much for all of the love and support! :) I can totally rock my yoga clothes with confidence but would like to have a bigger selection to rock as well! :)
And, I agree on the workouts! :) During winter time is also a hibernation/relaxation time! But, I do need to move everyday otherwise I feel funky! My body loves to move! :)
    XoXo
