All we have to do is to receive what we are given...We are given the naturalness to love someone, to be calm in crisis, to ignore self-defeating suggestions, to be pleasant, forgiving, tender, helpful, unworried, brave, energetic.

There is no remedy for love but to love more.

Death is a challenge It tells us not to waste time.. It tells us to tell each other right now that we love each other.

We need others. We need others to love and we need to be loved by them. There is no doubt that without it, we too, like the infant left alone, would cease to grow, cease to develop, choose madness and even death.

As Rene Dubos put it, “Genius is childhood recaptured.” For this to happen, studies show that we must recapture—or prevent the loss of—such child-like traits as the ability to learn, to love, to laugh about small things, to leap, to wonder, and to explore. It’s time to rescue ourselves from our grown-up ways before it’s too late.

War should we waged without love of violence, cruelty, or enmity.

To say 'I love you' one must know first how to say the 'I.'

Always you have been told that work is a curse and labour a misfortune. But I say to you that when you work you fulfil a part of earth's furthest dream, assigned to you when that dream was born, And in keeping yourself with labour you are in truth loving life, And to love life through labor is to be intimate with life's inmost secret.

…it was dangerous to overflow because we might end up finding ourselves occupied by our loved ones and drowning them with our love and enthusiasm.
